The 5 Minute Meditation
For anyone who wants to start meditating.
The hardest part about meditating is beginning to do it, and maintaining a consistent practice. People new to the practice are often daunted by the amount of time it takes to settle in, especially as phones and social media continue reshaping our attention spans. I believe that meditation is going to become increasingly important as a tool for counteracting these effects, and staying grounded in an increasingly chaotic world. With Saturn in Pisces, the ambient astrological conditions make this process of establishing a practice easier.
The beginning of my own practice was a 30 day five minute meditation challenge to myself, and it worked. To keep myself accountable, I made videos.
I believe I can help you begin meditating, establish a practice, and experience the benefits of a consistent meditation practice. It requires virtually nothing of you besides 5 minutes. It is the process which worked for me.
The Details:
Once a month, I will be sending out one of these videos per day for a month to everyone who signs up, with 4 live meditations. .
The daily meditations will arrive in the United States Pacific Time morning hours, and will begin on New Moon Cycles. Journal prompts, information on hand postures, exercises, blog posts and video interviews with other meditators and folks who are in my circle also pepper the months offerings, in support of generating energy around your growing practice.
Studies show that watching someone do something activates our mirror neurons, making it easier for us to do that thing. Doing something with someone else doubles that outcome, making whatever is learned stick.
